i put permanent marker on my face... [ dumb i know! but i put a big black dot on my nose where most of my blackheads are. i was a kitty and i put wiskers and stuff. i KNOW i should have used face paint. but i am dumb! ]
i washed it off with soap and everything, but it made my blackheads darker. its super horribly noticable! :[
what do i do?!?!HELP! I put sharpie on my face and washed it off and now it made my blackheads REALLY black!?
Ack! Please don't use acetone (nail polish remover) on your face! Rubbing alcohol can be used safely on your skin, and follow up with washing with soap and water and then moisturizing.
good luck, kitty! :)

There are some TERRIFIC solutions to how to get what is left of the black Sharpie marks off of your face on the web. Stop beating yourself up about it, we all do some not-so-smart things at times.
It seems that getting Sharpie ink on faces and hands is also very common for little kids so their Moms have had to come up with some clever solutions! Here are some of their ideas!
They suggest such things as:
- using baby oil and rubbing that over the area;
- using hand sanitizer and rubbing on the area;
- using shaving cream on a damp cloth, rubbing it over the area, then -
- using toothpaste with whitener in it and rubbing it over the area with a damp cloth;
- using dawn dishwashing detergent (took about 3 applications);
- using a banana to rub it off;
- using rubbing alcohol and Mr Clean Magic Eraser;
- using spray-on sunscreen (Bullfrog) was used;
and MANY MORE SUGGESTIONS!

I suggest that you may want to start with those things that you have in your home before you go out and buy anything.
Good luck!

WikiHow has a great webpage describing how to get permanent marker (like Sharpies) off of your skin. Here's the link - it even explains WHY the different removal methods work!

Do you have any Tabasco sauce or vinegar in your home? Another webpage on Wikipedia talks all about Sharpie markers AND includes a section on how to get marks off your skin - including using Tabasco sauce or vinegar!!
Here's the link!

Dab with alcohol to weaken the sharpie marks and then scrub gently until you get most of it off. Do it again after you can stand the application repeated and hopefully you will eventually remove it without the skin getting too red or irritated. Good luck! (Next time do use only face paint that can come off with facial cream.....)
there is this whitehead/blackhead remover (it's called a comedone remover) I've never used it personally but it sounds better than picking at your face. Trust it'll only make your nose (and the blackheads) stand-out even more. they're not that expensive either.
this looks like the cheapest one.....

good lucK!
Go get some pore reducing scrub and toner. Use daily. It will force the dirt out of your pores, then help keep them tight. I've always had noticeable pores and black heads on my nose. I used Neutrogena 's pore reducing scrub and toner for one week along with and their oil-free moisturizer, and no more blackheads! It's about $9.00 for the scrub and $8.00 for the toner. Best money I've spent in awhile. My skin has never looked better.
Soak/steam your face,
then put rubbing alcohol on your nose.
Start off dabbing,rubbing, then scrubbing.
BUT keep it gentle.
And if that doesn't work, then get rid of the blackheads all together with a blackheads eraser.
IT WORKS.
Trust me :))
try astringent, clearasil, umm neutrogena, but dont use anything to harsh like rubbing alchohol cuz it will dry out ur skin causing it to be flaky and give u more black heads.
umm actually nail polish remover on a cotton swab might work.
1. Pop them suckers!
2. Use make-up
3. Use a skin colored marker on the black heads.
Best of luck to you.
Nice...=_=
Ok, can't resist saying this but u should have known better than to use sharpie.
Anyways, try using some really hot steaming water with soap.
Have you tried alcohol? I'm always having problems with ethanol washing off labels written in sharpie. Try rubbing alcohol, or if that doesn't work...um...vodka?
bahahahahhahaha that is funny. try some TONER or alcohol
cover-up?
get some rubbing alcohol and cotton balls and scrub.
cover-up is the quick fix but yeah when you get a chance get the rubbing alcohol out...
