How to Remove Blackheads

Nose-Strip Method

Wet your nose with a clean face cloth and then dry your hands.

Open the packet that the nose strip is in, and rip the little tabs for a better fit on your nose.

Put the sticky side on your nose, wet it again and wait for around 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, the nose strip should be as hard as papier mache. Remove it.

Removing Tool Method

Fill a wide bowl with hot (but not boiling) water.

Rest your head over the water, so that your face can take advantage of the steam.

Empty the bowl and clean the blackhead removing tool with soap and water. Proceed to use the removing tool, carefully following the instructions.

Facial Scrub Method

Wash your face and rinse with water. Do not bother to dry it.

Take a quarter-sized amount of facial scrub and lather through clean hands.

Massage your face with the scrub to exfoliate the skin.

Rinse and wash face again if necessary.

Steaming Method

You may be familiar with this method of treating colds. However, it is also highly effective in treating blackheads.

Boil up a pot of water; adding lemon is an option.

Throwing a towel over your head so it covers the pot, keeping the steam within, lean over the pot and breathe deeply.

Do this for five minutes, until your face is quite wet from steam and also perspiration. This opens your pores.

At this point, you may choose to run a cotton make up pad over affected areas to dislodge blackheads.

Continuing on, add some cooler water to the pot so that the water remains quite hot, but not boiling, so that you may apply it to affected areas. Do so with a wet cotton pad, wringing it out, and pressing blackhead areas with the pad. Ensure the pad remains hot. Also, be careful not to burn yourself!

Cleanse after the use of this method.

Waxing At Salon

This is a little unheard of but it is a myth that black hair will grow where you wax.

Just have the beautician wax nose and other places with blackheads. Most beauticians have done this before.

Things You'll Need

Nose-Strips, try Biore.

Soap

Facial Scrub, try Clean %26amp; Clear, Skin iD by Neutrogena or Biore Warming Anti-blackhead Cream Cleanser

Blackhead Removing Tool, available at Sephora and The Body Shop.

A good oil-free moisturizer, or Enzymion (from Lush). This is fast-acting and the fruit enzymes in it break down oil on the skin's surface- no more shiny noses!

TipsOnly use the strips once a week.

Keep the strip on until it is dry.

Try not to touch your face. It's a hard habit to break, but dirt, oil, and germs will get into your face and block your pores.

WarningsBe careful when removing nose strips; they can create spider veins around the nose, if pulled too hard.

Do not use a facial scrub if you have other bad acne -- it could spread the acne and make it worse.

If you have sensitive skin, the strips may cause irritation and redness for up to 24 hours.Blackheads.. acne help please :'(?
Okay this might sound weird, but trust me, you should try it. My sister told me that by putting warm honey on my nose (or wherever you have blackheads) and leaving it there for 15-20 minutes then washing it off, it grabs the dirt and oil, and blackheads off the area, and leaves less, then for the rest of the blackheads(not many because the sticky honey pulls it off) I use the clean and clear blackhead remover, it gently cleans your skin, and clears away the blackheads in the area in which they are. I've done this and still do it, and my face AND nose is shiny clean =D.

Hope it helps
ughh you can try acne free but only on your nose it worked hella good on my face.

but usually everyone has blackheads on their nose idk y but i started realizing it, mostly everyone does.

its just black pores they can go away dont touch your face and wash your face every day also sont put lotion on it

i hope i helped if you want me to tell you more message me mmkay
Accutane (Ithink that's how you spell it) works wonders, or so I hear, but it's a prescription drug. Also, drink plenty of water, it help get rid of them.
Diffurin, i think thats what its called...

i use it.

its magic!
Sorry but even if you pop them they will always come back. But you can try to reduce them or even a get rid of them w/ proper treatment. what you need is a good exfoliater, like an apricot scrub or olive scrub, I like st. Ives and biore (ecspecialy the biore pore unclogger or anti-blackhead warming scrub.) But if you want a home remedy, boil some water in a pot and them hold your face over the steam. baking soda is a great exfoliater, just mix a little w/ water (make sure it's baking soda not powder.). Also never use your fingernails on your face. best of luck! Oh ya and proactiv does not work at all, don't try it!
um, try acne free severe...its suppose to be better, faster, and stronger than proactive, plus it doesnt dry your face out...its worth the $25...i had bad acne, and i have blackheads on my nose but i dont know how to get rid of them =[...but now my acne is alot better, i started noticing results...i'd probably say within 2-3 days...it's pretty good stuff...i looked at some other products like that at walgreen.com and i found that the one i just told you about is the one that caught my attention, i did some research on it, and decided to give it a try, i've tried everything else (oxy, stridex, clean and clear, clearisil) nothing worked except this one....good luck
Well as for the acne/pimples you can simply buy washing products that contain Salycilic Acid (Neutrogena makes them) for washing, and products that contain 5-10% Benzoyl Peroxide (5 in mil dcases of acne, 10 -15 if extremely severe)

As for the blackheads on your nose, get those cleansing strips that hurt like hell when you pull them off. They actually work.

Use those strips about, every 3 or 4 days, and in between, wash your nose to get rid of oil. Sneal and Clear makes these little sheets that absorb the oil in your skin, they are as small as a key chain and can be easiy carried around wherever you go.

LAB series for men (ALthough it is a product for men, women can use it too) makes this product called ANti-Brilliance Lotion, that cleans the excess oil off your skin. Use it in your nose after you use the cleansing strips and use it 2 times a day to get rid of the oil

Results aren;t immediate and it may take 3-5 weeks before you start seeing results, but hey, its worth the wait. Don't invest money on pro-activ or anything like that because Products containing Benzoyl Peroxide are just as good.
